Mr. Duffy led a buyout of United’s legacy 90 year old platform company, United Country Real Estate, in February 2006.   Since acquisition, Dan and his management team have established three complimentary businesses to gain leverage on the services and technology platform developed for the core business: United Auction Services, Enhanced Marketing Solutions and United Real Estate.

Prior to joining United, Dan spent nearly 20 years focused on serving clients in senior executive positions in the technology and services marketplaces.

Most recently Dan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft’s twice awarded “Global Partner of the Year” and largest North American Microsoft business solutions partner with over 20 offices serving 12,000 clients across the United States, the U.K. and select foreign markets.

Prior to his tenure in the technology product development and services market space, Dan served as the Chief Development and Financial Officer of the largest on-line business-to-business exchange serving the auction and brokerage market for industrial equipment and was a founding member of the Chicago practice of The Center for Strategic Transactions, a division of Ernst & Young LLP, providing strategic and corporate finance advisory services to Fortune 100 companies as well as high growth technology, product and services organizations across multiple industries.

Dan and his wife Chris have five boys and are active in various organizations in the Kansas City community and national conservation groups including Ducks Unlimited.  Mr. Duffy earned a B.B.A. from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.


Over his past 20 years in the real estate industry, Peter Giese has expanded numerous start-up organizations into multi-million dollar companies.

He has also held senior leadership positions in a Fortune 500 company, directing strategies at both the national and local levels. Prior to joining United Real Estate, Giese was most recently with Cendant Corporation and Realogy, Inc., where he held the position of Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales and Development.

In this role, Peter had full authority over the development of real estate brands such as Coldwell Banker, Century 21 and ERA across much of the United States. During his tenure with Cendant and Realogy, Peter led the division with the highest growth in new sales for six years in a row. Before he joined Cendant, Giese was part of the Senior Leadership of Homestore.com.

This start-up company built Realtor.com, a top-ranked real estate website. As the Vice President of National Sales for the Broker division, Giese led a national sales team through two mergers and grew his division’s annual revenue to more than $50 million in less than three years.


Most recently, Dave Dickey was Sr. Vice President Professional Services for ePartners. ePartners, the Microsoft 2005 Partner of the Year, specialized in delivering, integrating and customizing solutions tailored specifically for each client’s business needs.

The group has a concentration in Microsoft .Net programming, portal development services, systems integration, and a focus on ePartners’ core ERP and CRM product offerings. Prior to joining ePartners, Dickey was Director of Worldwide Professional Services at Pervasive Software where he led the services group in both North America and Europe.

The group focused on solving complex database problems and had a specific practice in replication and disaster recovery solutions.

Dickey has spent a number of years in the enterprise software space where he developed mission critical software for a wide range of businesses working with clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Office Depot, & Burlington Northern.

Dickey received his BBA in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University, continuing education from Kellogg School of Management, and is a graduate of the Stagen Leadership Institute.


Orlando Pedrero’s expertise in the art of consultative sales, and the discovery and implementation of new revenue streams has propelled him to high level of success and recognition throughout his career. Pedrero is nationally recognized for building top-performing sales team throughout multiple industries. In his 14 years in the real estate industry he has also held senior leadership positions in a Fortune 500 company, directing strategies at both the national and regional levels.

Before joining United Real Estate, Pedrero was the President of Intelligent Answers® Consulting Group, specializing in consulting with business leaders on sales growth strategies, sales force process, industry innovation, and revenue growth. Recognized as an expert in the field of executive sales management, Pedrero has worked and consulted with various Fortune 500 companies as well as regional business owners. In addition, his successful experience in Real Estate Franchise Development include working with some of the top real estate brands in the world


Having worked in all facets of marketing, Amanda Cline brings extensive experience and a valuable, big-picture perspective to client projects for the Enhanced Marketing Solutions (EMS) team. As a member of the management team, Amanda assisted in building EMS into the largest real estate marketing services organization in the U.S. while continuing to engage partners, lead and mentor a team of project management and design professionals and actively drive operational and growth strategies.

Prior to joining EMS, Amanda worked as a National Account Executive for a large regional home builder and developer. Responsible for a 13-state territory, Amanda managed over 400 marketing projects per year. Whether executing a multi-state campaign or developing a social media strategy, Amanda loves bringing projects into the spotlight and using marketing to achieve business goals.

Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado – Boulder in Management and Marketing and earned her MBA from Baker University. Amanda was named a Rising Star in 2014 by KC Business Magazine, which celebrates business leaders under the age of 40.


As Vice President of Franchise Operations for United Real Estate, Brenda Thompson provides brokers and owners with the education and support they need to grow their business and offer her expertise to assist with their recruiting initiatives, agent development and the operational efficiency of United’s full service 100% commission model. With 15 years of experience in real estate sales, marketing and management, Brenda brings a wealth of knowledge to the United Real Estate team. Prior to joining United Real Estate, Brenda owned and operated a leading Dallas real estate brokerage business, earning numerous designations and honors, including being named among the Best Realtors in Dallas by D Magazine. Brenda has held a number of leadership positions, including serving on the Board of Directors for Collin County Association of Realtors for the 2010 and 2011 terms. Brenda holds the ABR, ASR, CRS, e-PRO, GRI, RECS, SFR and TAHS designations/certifications.


Cinnamon started her journey with United in 2009 as a Customer Service Specialist for United Country before transitioning to United Real Estate in 2011. Since joining the United Real Estate team, she obtained her Missouri Real Estate License and has worked in the areas of Talent Acquisition, Technology Support and Education prior to her role as Director of Program Services. She studied Theatre Arts at Howard University in Washington D.C., and Marketing at University of Phoenix in Kansas City, MO. Her favorite part of her job is building relationships with brokers and agents across the country and helping them increase their success in real estate.


For more than 25 years, Pepin has been a real estate career man. With an aptitude for technology, Pepin assumed an executive position with one of the leading real estate technology companies working with industry leaders, brokerages and agents on business development through the use of technology. Pepin has been a California licensed real estate agent for more than 10 years, bringing extensive experience in brokerage operations, development and agent recruiting to the United Real Estate team.

Denis has been in the real estate industry since 1989.  He has experience in real estate sales, management and agent recruiting. As a business owner myself, I understand brokerage operations. Throughout his career, Denis has developed skills that will contribute to United Real Estate’s upward trajectory. He looks forward to providing top-notch technology, training, growth, and branding solutions to United Real Estate’s current and future customers.


Joe is an accomplished and energetic sales professional with unrivaled success in opening new markets and driving unprecedented growth throughout the Central Atlantic states. His franchise sales career spans over 15 years. He has had great success awarding franchises, most recently with Re/Max, LLC and the Coldwell Banker brands. Previous to working in the franchise development arena, he sharpened his customer service and relationship skills as a successful residential realtor in Richmond, Virginia. His consultative sales approach has enabled him to develop strong strategic marketing plans for his clients helping them to recruit top producing agents as well as manage their bottom line expenses. He has been consistently recognized for his aptitude for building rapport with customers and tending to their needs while making their decision on whether to affiliate with a brand. McFarland’s experience since joining the Real Estate field in 1979 is extensive. He held various Franchise Development positions and Real Estate Brokerage leadership positions throughout the United States. He has experience as a business consultant, franchise sales director, agent, broker, builder, and owner. Patrick was born and raised in Suburban Chicago, Illinois. Patrick is a 3rd generation real estate broker, his father and his grandfather where in the real estate business stretching back to the 1920’s. Patrick has been a licensed broker since 1980. He has worked for National Real Estate organizations, real estate franchise’s owners as well local independent real estate offices. His passion is helping real estate brokers start and grow their business. McFarland hold an AAS degree in business with a focus on Real Estate earning a certificate in Real Estate and the “The Real Award” from the business department. He also been awarded his CRB, CRS, GRI destination’s and is a licensed broker in Illinois and Indiana.


Kathy brings to the United Real Estate brand her diverse experience as a franchise industry professional with a career of 16 years in the Franchising Industry from sales and development to operations and consulting for brands in the financial services, senior care and health and wellness industries. Throughout her career, she has worked with startups as well established brands and has developed a passion for working with startup companies. Kathy has also launched and operated her own franchise consulting business, helping consumers to find the best brand to fit their goals and aspirations of being an entrepreneur in the franchise industry representing over 100 brands. Kathy is also a licensed real estate agent for over 10 years in State of Louisiana practicing both residential and commercial transactions with brands such as Coldwell Banker, Prudential Gardner and independent broker Main Street Realty. With Kathy’s entrepreneurial drive and passion for the franchise and real estate industries she will be expanding the United Real Estate brand in the Southeastern US markets from Texas, LA, OK, MS and Alabama by enabling entrepreneurs to achieve the American Dream of franchise ownership.


Roger is an award winning sales professional with over 20 years of expertise in the franchise business development and operations within several industries. Roger’s comprehensive experience includes helping entrepreneurs start new businesses, to helping well establish multi-unit offices flourish through franchising. He has assisted in business growth through creation and implementation of marketing materials, sales systems, business plans, organizational systems and sales, operations, training manuals and financing of projects. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his success in local, regional, national and international sales. Former Realtor member of the Illumination Engineering Society for his marketing contributions. Awarded a BBA from UT and is a member of the UT Suncoast and Business Alumni Associates.


As the Business Development Manager, Parente-Chase partners with companies across the U.S. to develop tools that support, motivate and ensure agent success, which in turn translates to the highest level of quality for our customers.

Parente-Chase has a wealth of practical experience, from selling real estate to working in the mortgage and banking industry. Her 15+ years of progressive experience has led to the development of several successful programs here at United Real Estate and elsewhere in her career.

Parente-Chase graduated from Northwest Missouri State with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting.
